SUMMER BASS DROPSHOTTING

8/24/2016

During the summer months it can be difficult to scare up a bass. When the bite is tough and the fish are deep, the dropshot is a top go-to method. Selecting the right dropshot bait is critical when it comes to catching to finicky fish. The Jackall Crosstail Shad is one bait that can make a difference. What makes this bait special is its horizontal profile in the water, which gives a natural presentation and allows for the body of the bait to quiver with the slightest movement of the rod or while in current. The T-shape on the tail section produces a rolling from side to side. The combination of quivering and rolling produces an action that will cause bass to bite even during the hottest spells of summer.
