Buzzbaits excel at catching bass in shallow bays during the spring, and are especially useful when bass are bedding. Be sure to vary your retrieve and move the bait for it to change directions to provoke finicky bass into biting. Buzzbaits are often fished in stained water, but top anglers use them in clear water as well. Since they put off lots of sound, they are proven fish-catchers at night. The loud clacking and big profile allows bass to find your buzzbait during low-light conditions.
