Springtime drum

Drum are moving back to deeper water during spring months on the coast.  These fish can accumulate around cuts or passes between the flats and deeper bay systems, and can be found on shallow, grassy flats just adjacent to these underwater migration paths.  Fishing in shallow water with soft plastics or live shrimp can provide anglers with excellent opportunities to target additional species on a daily basis in the spring!
