The big, bad Shimano Tranx

​Brand new for 2017, Shimano introduces the Tranx. Available in 300 and 400 size reels, in both right- and left-hand retrieves. The 300 series Tranx is well suited for throwing large baits like swimbaits and Alabama rigs for big bass. The 400 series is optimal for muskie and big saltwater fish. This reel is lightweight for less fatigue, but bolsters a heavy-duty drag (18lbs) and features the strongest, most precise gears in fishing—Shimano’s cold-forged Hagane gears.
